This evaluation is appropriate for anyone who has difficulty with their speaking voice.
Common diagnoses that may require a voice evaluation include: vocal nodules, muscle tension dysphonia, vocal polyps, and vocal fold cysts.

This evaluation is appropriate for anyone who has difficulty with their singing voice.
Speaking voice will also be evaluated as part of the singing voice evaluation.

Chronic cough evaluation and treatment is appropriate for any individuals who struggle with chronic cough (lasting >8 weeks).

Exercise-induced breathing difficulty evaluation and treatment is appropriate for individuals who have breathing difficulties triggered by exercise or exertion.

SPEAKOUT!® EVALUATION & TREATMENT
SPEAKOUT!® is a program specifically designed by Parkinson Voice Project for individuals with Parkinson’s disease or Parkinson’s plus disease processes who have speech, swallowing, and/or cognitive problems.

Clinical Swallow Evaluation
This evaluation is appropriate for anyone who has difficulty swallowing food, liquids, and/or pills.

Dysphagia (Swallow) Treatment
Dysphagia treatment may be recommended following a clinical swallow evaluation.
Each swallow treatment session is personalized to the individual based on goals and results of the initial evaluation.

McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program
The McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program is an intensive program designed to help individuals return to swallowing food and liquid.
Candidacy for participation in the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program will be determined during your initial evaluation.

Aphasia Evaluation & Treatment
Aphasia evaluation and treatment is appropriate for individuals who have difficulty with expressive language, receptive language, reading, and/or writing. Aphasia typically occurs as a result of a stroke.

Motor Speech Evaluation & Treatment
Motor speech evaluation and treatment is appropriate for individuals who have difficulty with the motor component of speech.
Some common diagnoses that may require a motor speech evaluation include: dysarthria, apraxia of speech, and dysfluency/stuttering.

Cognitive-Communication Evaluation & Treatment
Cognitive-communication evaluations and treatment are appropriate for individuals who have difficulty with attention, orientation, memory, information processing, thought organization, sequencing, decision-making, problem solving, executive function, and/or word finding problems.
Some common diagnoses that may require a cognitive-communication evaluation include: chemo-brain, long-COVID, post-concussion syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and/or dementia.

Craniofacial Evaluation & Treatment
Craniofacial evaluations and treatment are appropriate for children who have difficulty with speech production, voice, resonance, airway, and/or swallowing issues secondary to a diagnosis of a craniofacial disorder, such as a cleft lip and palate.

Videostroboscopy
Videostroboscopy is the the gold standard for assessing and detecting pathology and for determining the impact on airway function and voice. This evaluation is completed by a Speech-Language Pathologist using a flexible endoscope which is passed through the nose to allow a slow-motion, magnified view of your vocal folds in action. The speech-language pathologist can evaluate a number of vocal parameters and view irregular motion and other conditions of the vocal folds.

Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES)
Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) is a comprehensive assessment of swallowing. This evaluation is completed by a Speech-Language Pathologist using a flexible endoscope which is passed through the nose to allow viewing of the structures used for swallowing, assessing motor and sensory function as the patient completes a series of tasks. The swallowing process is observed and evaluated as the patient is given various food and liquid textures during the exam.

SLP Coaching/Mentoring is appropriate for graduate students, CFY students, and certified speech-language pathologists looking for 1:1 coaching and/or mentoring in a specific area of speech-language pathology.
