Rainbow Sponsorship

Many transgender or non-conforming (TGNC) individuals benefit significantly from gender-affirming voice and communication services. However, access to services are limited by lack of funding, underinsurance, and insurance limitations on coverage of gender-affirming services. Research shows that individuals who can not access these services due to lack of funding are at increased risk of suicide or being a victim of violence. Rainbow Scholarships are developed from donations by our Rainbow Sponsors and help fund gender-affirming evaluation and treatment for individuals who are unable to afford or otherwise access these services.

Typical cost for gender-affirming voice & communication services:

$200 for evaluation

$120 per treatment session x anywhere from 6-8 sessions

Total cost: ~$960- $1160

SPEAK OUT!® Sponsorship

Research shows that individuals with Parkinson’s disease benefit from continued services and ongoing support.

Empowered Voice Rehabilitation LLC offers this ongoing support for individuals with Parkinson’s disease through our free weekly SPEAK OUT!® maintenance group. This group is open to any individual who has completed the SPEAK OUT!® program and needs ongoing support and training from a trained speech-language pathologist.

SPEAK OUT!® Sponsors provide financial sponsorship that funds our SPEAK OUT!® maintenance group and allows us to continue to offer it as a free service for participants. Insurance companies do not cover the cost of maintenance groups.
