Empowered voice rehabilitation

Empowered Voice Rehabilitation LLC was founded by Ashley Michaelis in May 2022 with the mission of providing high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based speech-language pathology services to individuals who might otherwise lack access to these essential therapies. After over a decade of working as a speech-language pathologist within the medical system, Ashley observed numerous barriers to care that hindered patients from receiving the support they needed to enhance their quality of life. These barriers, such as limited access to services, the pressure of productivity requirements that led to rushed appointments, inability to provide the latest high quality evidence-based care due to systematic red-tape, lack of culturally competent care, and socioeconomic disparities. Driven by a desire to overcome these challenges, Ashley founded Empowered Voice Rehabilitation LLC to offer a more inclusive, accessible, and patient-centered alternative.

The mission of Empowered Voice Rehabilitation LLC is to ensure that every individual has equitable access to high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based medical speech-language pathology services. We are committed to serving all individuals regardless of age, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, culture, place of birth, national origin, HIV status, religion, marital status, language, socioeconomic status, physical or mental disability, protected veteran status, or obligation for service in the armed forces. Our goal is to eliminate barriers related to funding and resources, so everyone can receive the support they need to communicate effectively.
